General

All panels, room controllers, switches, occupancy sensors, photocells, and other peripheral devices have been terminated and are powered.
All RJ-45 CAT5/5E cables have been terminated and properly tested.
All as-built documentation is complete, accurate and submitted to Lighting Solutions at least 2 weeks prior to the commissioning start-up date.
The as-built information must include the following.
- Panel/Room load schedules
- Switch schedules
- Occupancy sensor settings. Auto On/Off, Vacancy Only and time out
- Daylight harvesting information
- Time clock schedules
- Any programming information that may be required for a fully functioning system.
An electrician familiar with the installation of the lighting control system, must be available with ladders or anything else for access to the system components.
Ensure that end user representatives are to be onsite for orientation and training on the system.

Daylighting Systems

All daylighting sensors have been installed and fully operable.
The daylighting control areas are completed and ready for occupancy.

Dimming Systems

All dimming controllers have been terminated and are powered.
All lighting fixtures have been installed and 0-10V dimming wires have been installed and verified.

Line Voltage terminated and verified

Line/Loads terminated to the relays/dimmers.

Lighting loads with 0-10v dimming wiring has been tested for proper polarity.

Control devices terminated to the controller and ready to be tested.

All communication cable properly installed, tested, and terminated.

Updated panel schedules or As-built information completed and sent into Lighting Solution controls department. Email [email protected].

Times schedule information sent into Lighting Solutions.

If the items are not completed, as verified above, on the arrival of the Field Engineer, then the Field Engineer will leave the job site and the contractor or distributor will be charged the full cost of the scheduled visit. Another visit will need to be rescheduled with Lighting Solutions at the contractor/distributor’s expense once all the above items have been completed.
